This article is called "Obama: The Great Divider?" This article talks about how Obama first brags about "championing bipartisanship," and the author talks about how he really hasn't which is what Congress is all about...... Competition!!

    I think Obama wants Republicans to recognize that the GOP platforms of the 2004 and 2008 election are out of sync with what the majority of Americans want. So his definition of bi-partisan ship is exactly by serving the will of the people, not bending over backwards to please Republicans.

    I don't necessarily agree with Obama's politics in this instance but I can see where he is coming from.

    This diatribe against the President is not surprising, considering its source (The Hoover Institution). I cannot imagine them finding anything to like about him unless he suddenly announced he was adopting supply-side economics.
